Batch Hinirang, in partnership with the SK Federation District 6 Quezon City, successfully held "Hero in YOUth" at Pasong Tamo Elementary School in Quezon City last 29 June 2019.
Insightful discussions and fun-filled activities kept the participants engaged during the program. The whole-day program covered topics on Reducing Plastics, Media Literacy and Photography Tips, First Aid and Basic CPR Training, and Youth Project Proposal Making.
We extend our gratitude to our partners and supporters who made this possible: ▪ National Youth Commission

OTHER BATCH ACTIVITIES
1,000,000 MANGROVES PLANTED
Last July 23, 2023, partner groups of the Allied Mangrove Planting Organizations (AMPO), including Batch Hinirang, planted its final 10,000 propagules to reach the 1,000,000 mangroves committed by the coalition of volunteers to the “10 Million Trees in 10 Years Movement” to regreen Negros Island. These mangroves are also dedicated to the ASEAN Countries and Japan.
The informal alliance of like-minded groups is spearheaded by the Negros Oriental Association of ROTC Corps Commanders (NORACC) which started planting way back October 2015 after noticing the dwindling sea forest in the province. Other private groups began to notice the effort and later on joined the privately organized and funded environment-friendly activities. Hence, the AMPO evolved.
