45th SSEAYP 2018 (Hinirang)

This is #HinirangLove. 

Balled first on the chest is our gesture of pride, devotion, and Filipino patriotism. 

It is also a way of sending love to Japan and ASEAN Community.

TWENTY-EIGHT Youth Ambassadors of Goodwill from all over the country and their National Leader embarked on a journey to continue the tradition of representing the Filipino youth. They represented the country from October 23 to December 15, 2018, travelled to Japan, Brunei Darussalam, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The delegation consisted of young leaders from different regions of the country, and manifested a diverse array of talents and cultures across various careers and advocacies. The diverse representation unified them to achieve a common goal: to be catalysts for a meaningful change in the country.

Carrying the name Hinirang, the Filipino term for "the chosen one," the Contingent whole-heartedly committed itself to the service of the country as the called and chosen Philippine Youth Ambassadors of Goodwill. They actively took part in nation-building through a series of cultural promotions, youth empowerment, and community engagement activities.
